Hi Friedbert, if you are working with eclipse and want to have a "quick start" try to use MerlinDeveloper, which is a Eclipse plugin for Merlin.
You may have a look at : http://www.merlin.softwarefabrik.biz/docs/eclipse/html/index.htm Because you are using Eclipse 2.1.1, you have to download the .zip installation for the plugin.
