None of the current containers are able to this out of the box. Your best bet, IMHO, in this case is Merlin. You would need to be "bleeding edge", and work with version 3.3 (not released yet) and later. Either you can help us implementing the Management system, probably in the form of full JMX support, OR roll your own solution. You will need to create something that is called a Facility, basically a component that is a plug-in to the container itself, and not a component managed by the container. A facility gets hold of the internal model of Merlin, and can modify this model if it wants to (and have permissions for it.). Writing the facility is not hard, although it may require a lot of questions to understand the full Model inside Merlin. I hope this gives you enough overview.
