Hi, I have been working for some time on a project with one of the goals of which was developing a IoC container honoring Avalon component-contracts. I have just made it public and just want to invite developers using one of the Avalon containers to check it out. The pre-alpha release is bundled with a Jetty derived component and a few others such as a threadpool and an asynchronous event service so that it would be easier to try it out of the box.
There are also some pure theoretical ideas about Component Models for developing somewhat complex COP applications.
