Ummm - somethings falling into place here. I recently switched James to a 0 delay and the other day I had to restart the server because it never completed full kernel initialization (and similar to your own scenario - it was not a repeatable scenario).

You mean the deployment timeout settings? How do you achieve this? I add the parameter "deployment-timeout" in the kernel, but when I audit merlin, i still get the default timeout of "1000"ms. For example
