Hello I am interested in controlling where various repository jar files (repository and system directories) are placed.
I looked at the documentation, and it says that if I change merlin.properties, I can get the behaviour I want to. Howevere, after several attempts, nothing has happend and it still writes to: C:\Documents and Settings\nader.aeinehchi\.merlin This is my configuration: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Merlin installation directory: c:\bin\merlin --> I want the jar files etc to be stored in: c:\settings\merlin So I created c:\bin\merlin\merlin.properties and wrote in merlin.properties: ============================ avalon.home = c:\settings\merling user.home = c:\settings\merling merlin.dir = c:\settings\merling ============================ By the way, I also put these values in my shell: ==================================== set JAVA_HOME=c:\java\jdk\j2sdk1.4.2_02 set MERLIN_HOME=c:\bin\merlin set PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%ANT_HOME%\bin%MAVEN_HOME%\bin;%MERLIN_HOME%\bin;%PATH% ===================================== (of course, I have right settings for Maven, Ant, JDK etc) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks.
