I think Maven's actual semantics are that there must be a ".latest" symlink pointing to the last version. This has been recognized, and I have tried to use Maven as it is intended, but... Maven is not the right tool for Avalon's many artifacts. It is currently not possible to build the whole of Avalon using Maven without heaps of maven.xml special treatments. > Are there any plans to fix this or is it already fixed? I assume you are talking about that you put "SNAPSHOT" in your POMs, and the latest version will always be used.
