The JMX facility was not part of the Merlin 3.3 release, neither any of the
other facilities either. It is expected that facilities are released
independent of Merlin.

The JMX is still under source control management, no longer CVS but
Subversion.
The transition to Subversion has also somewhat slowed down the code
development, as we are freshening up the site and codebase organization to
reflect the Vision of Avalon Planet. :o)

This work is coming to a close, if we can get to a decision on the new look
(http://www.apache.org/~niclas/docs/).
Furthermore, the hand-over of Excalibur/Fortress to its own top level project,
will probably increase the productivity around here by a notch. I don't
expect much transitional issues over the codebase, so within a week or two, I
think we can get back on track.

Meanwhile,
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/avalon/trunk/planet/facilities/jmx/ is the
URL for the JMX facility under SVN (subversion uses the same URL for both
browsing and as an identifier for the access), and patches are welcome.

Recently, the most active user, Cameron Fieber, on the JMX front was voted in
as a committer, and I hope he will manage to put in a few hours here and
there as well.

Cheers
Niclas
