This looks like the same "bad thing" that crops up on James and Tomcat lists
too. Basically strict interpretation of the URI spec. does not allow spaces.
With software installed in file systems that do allow spaces in paths, such
as Windows, you may encounter them. When this happens the URI is correctly
rejected as malformed.
The easy answer is to not install in a location that canonically includes
spaces, such as "Documents and settings" [sic].
