This class and some of the classes related to meta data creation were
recently updated in include support for .xparams (static parameters) and the
ability to declare parameters within configuration targets. My guess is that
your merlin-impl-SNAPSHOT under ${merlin.home} is inconsistent with
something you have build using the svn build of composition-impl. Simple
solution is to update your installation of merlin (in particular the jar
files in ${merlin.home}/system).
