Nothing that I can think of.

You will probably come back with a series of questions similar to other who 
are writing Swing apps on top of Merlin. But all in all, nothing serious.

Merlin itself starts very quickly, but there is substantial overhead in the 
model verification process on start-up. That means that if you have very 
large number of components, significant start-up time will occur. You could 
possibly defer some of that into a background thread, for instance while the 
user logs in, and/or network connections to the server. I don't consider it a 
major issue, but you should keep it in mind.
