Hello,

I`ve setup beonex on my machine (win 98 4.10.2222 [se II]). I'd received a kryptic ;-) error message (view screenshot setup_err.png).
After that beonex started normally and imported mails from communicator and links from ie5.5.
I'd had installed Netscape pre 1 too, but It don't work no more because of the timebomb. I'd had installed mozilla milestone 13 too, but uninstalled before the installation of Netscape 6 pre 1.
Now I can't use the MailNews for my mails. I can't receive mails by hamster at localhost nor by internetconnection pop3.web.de.
The only thing works well with MailNews is direct SMTP (smtp.web.de) but with localhost ([127.0.0.1] hamster) I received error messages (hamster dosen't support EHLO but HELO!).I`ve add 2 screenshots about that.
May it`s possible to switch after failed EHLO to HELO? May someone can implement it? Or it's a possible configuration (compile-option)?

Any sugestions about the pop-problem? -Hamster didn`t  notice any about this action -get msg- and beonex doesn't seem to do anything at all if I want to get new mails nor with the pop3 direct to internet account.

At work on NT 4.0 sp5 with several Browsers installed (Ns 6, MsIE 5.0, Amaya, Communicator 4.71, Moz Milestone 13 uninstalled) anything functions very well, but I don't use hamster.

Thanx

Gerhard

P.S.: Aus der Hamster Mailinglist: (Outlook funzt bei mir übrigens auch will ich aber nicht verwenden)

Also, Pegasus-Mail macht's doch genauso, wie Jürgen meinte und erwartete.
