You set the POP information in each actual mail account. There is a special mail account called "Outgoing Server (SMTP)". > Nor is there an Advanced tab/button on that screen. I, too, have Beonex for Windows, ver. 0.8-stable (with Enigmail if anyone knows that makes a difference, but I thought I set up my servers *before* installing EnigMail). It took me two days before I could fine the Outgoing Server (SMTP) settings. It's the only Mail & News account in the list that doesn't expand to include other aspects. It's an account setting all by itself. If you can't find this setting, then perhaps it's a feature of the EnigMail plug-in, but I really don't think so.
