These are files generated in a Windows computer, all with a ".jpg"
extension? They may contain "errors" but gimp is quite happy to display
them. As I said about half of them work with Beonex 0.8.1 as expected,
the rest produce this error message but can be viewed with gimp.

The image
mailbox:///root/.beonex/comm/root/57fx9cdw.slt/Mail/pop-server.tampabay.rr.com/Inbox?
number=9393781&part=1.10&type=image/jpeg&filename=Nave.jpg cannot be
displayed, because it contains errors.

Thank you for the "/etc/DIR_COLORS" that's the answer to my original
question.

The colors are defined by /etc/DIR_COLORS which AFAIKT just uses extentions
to check for the file type. Try 'file myfile.jpeg' and make sure it's not
really a GIF or something.
