First, let me start by saying I haven't played with Linux, yet. But the Beonex files should be in something akin to your profile in Windows. Something like "/home/usr/Beonex...etc." AFAIK. The only difference between the two should be the reference to Mozilla instead of Beonex. I run Win98SE, but AFAIK the placement is the same for various flavors of Windows. Assuming you have a log-in profile and you installed under your profile, the files will be in your profile directory, under the Windows directory, in the Application Data section. Since you said your windows version of the suite is Mozilla, your mail files will be in omething like "C:\Windows\Profiles\'your username'\Application Data\Mozilla\profiles\default\'strangely named directory'\...". That last set of dots is really two subdirectories -- one for mail, one for news. The app will have set up folders below that for your accounts & their content. I know this is clear as mud. :-) I do have a log-in, but my machine runs standalone, Win98SE. So, there may be some variation depending on whether you're on a network, whether you installed Mozilla or an admin, etc. But, at least with the Windows versions, as long as Beonex & Mozilla are set up the same, the mail & news files should be portable back & forth. Someone more familiar with Linux can tell you if there are any provisos in swapping between "the penguin" & "the flag". :-) Hope this helps. Bill Kraski
