1. Will any biblio upgrade be able to still use Iomega's "Action Disk". Take a look at the following link:

I have no idea.
2. I noticed that there was some talk of portability. Do you mean that a user would be able to keep biblios on, for example, CD-RWs, Iomega Zip Disks, 31/2 Floppy Disks and then use the information on the disks on other computers with OO
The "portability" you are referring to is probably functionality similar to the "traveling library" functionality in Endnote. So reference data gets embedded in the document. If you open it on another computer, or send it to a colleague, they would be able to import those records.
or Reference Software like EndNote and ReferenceManager.
No; at least not anytime soon. It'd be a complicated problem to solve, and we already have enough of them.
3. Will it be possible to post References on the Internet and then sync it with References on the computer and vice versa. That way they can be shared between a group.
Possible yes, but not likely the first time around. Except I don't why "syncing" would be important.
I'm big on the idea of using Atom to syndicate bibliographic records, just like people currently do with weblog content.
4. Will there be an easy way to place references within a document. My school likes to use APA style that calls for this in theses and other documents.
If we manage to get it coded, YES!
