Dear list members,

I confess that I am just a user of different bibliographic software (Biblioscape, Endnote, Procite, and Reference Manager). I did not participate to the list very often, so please forgive me if I am giving ideas already expressed by someone else.

As professional Egyptologists, I need to use various fonts in the same string, a feature that at the moment only Reference Manager and Procite support, in spite of the fact that they do not support Unicode. Thus, mine is a plea or a suggestion more than anything else.

If it was possible to create software where Unicode and multiple fonts were supported, this will make happy any user having or using a language not actually supported by Unicode.

I believe that as Bibliographic software per se, Procite is still a good example to be copied, despite it has not been updated for the last six years. The fact that you can search author name just typing makes you waste less time than any search button in the other programs. I admire the features of Biblioscape, a program which works quite OK but, as already remarked, I would like a multifont option for the field in use. So, if something like Biblioscape, but putting in the other options I have specified can do the job for me.
