Hello,

I don't know if this is of interest, but I just dug up a file containing my (incomplete) attempt to decipher an old EndNote database file format. This was the original EndNote PC database format I think (the original Mac format was different?) I know the format has recently changed with EndNote 8 (and did it change with EndNote 5 too?) But perhaps there is some similarity?

If I remember correctly, the general layout of the file was that it was made up of blocks of 512 bytes, the information I could figure out about each block type is given below, I think the numbers in brackets represent the number of bytes used.

Cheers.
