The Bibliographic database fields currently only support plain text - it should support non European Characters. There is a long discussion of this issue at http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=62664 However the plain text does not include support character formatting such as sub/subscript letters, italic , bold etc. Our proposals for the redevelopment of the bibliographic facility include adding and using a new formatted field type, one that would support all types of complex text - that is with chemical and mathematical formulae, graphics etc. I hope this helps, if you still have difficulties let me know. regards David -- ------------------- David N.
