Hi,

I wrote a buildr extension for packaging one or more gems into a JAR such that,
when the JAR is on the classpath, JRuby will be able to automatically find the
gems. The manual technique[1] is not too difficult, but this extension makes it
declarative and repeatable as part of your normal build process.

The extension is named buildr-gemjar. It's available as a gem[2] and as source
on github[3]. I've been using it for a couple of weeks with no problems; let me
know if you try it and run into any issues.
