Hello Russ, I'm afraid, there is no undocumented pattern to remove whitespaces. I think we have to extend the 'org.apache.camel.dataformat.bindy.annotation.DataField' for this requirement. Feel free to raise a JIRA issue for this: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/CAMEL
