Hello Vid! I think this is a question for the Log4J mailing list. They can answer this question better than we... However, if it's possible for you to use a property file for your log4j configuration (that's the way Camel configure log4j), you will find many samples in the Camel unit tests like this one: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/camel/trunk/camel-core/src/test/resources/log4j.properties
