BTW it looks like the original post has gone to nabble but not yet been approved on the apache lists.
FWIW we've designed Camel to work with or without any Dependency Injection framework (e.g. Spring or Guice) or Registry (JNDI / Spring / OSGi etc). So it should be trivial to add support for CDI if folks want to dive in and help.
