Thanks for your help, finally I think I'm getting a handle on this issue after applying suggested change. The only open item is, how do I catch or get to know the exception thrown by my external service. Both Exchange.getException and exchange.getProperty(Exchange.EXCEPTION_CAUGHT,..) returns null.
