It looks like you were correct. I changed the camel-test-spring dependency
to 2.10.0 as follows:

<dependency>
      <groupId>org.apache.camel</groupId>
      <artifactId>camel-test-spring</artifactId>
      <version>2.10.0</version>
      <scope>test</scope>
</dependency>

The tests now work. It looks like the change happened in the move to 2.10.1
because if I change the camel-test-spring dependecy to 2.10.1 I get the
Properties errors again.
