Hello folks,
On the Code Ranch (formerly the Java Ranch), a question was posted relative to the Apache Camel Components Poster promotion, of which I cannot answer: Here is the question: Camel seems to offer a better developer experience (via the Fluent API) than Spring Integration; and certainly offers more connector options. How does it compare in throughput? Specifically, assuming String JMS messages of 1-10k in/out, Spring Integration + JiBX marshalling/unmarshalling can get me throughput of 1000's of messages per second. Can Camel compete at that level? Years back, I remember there being some issues with Camel/ServiceMix throughput being very slow (10's to 100's of messages per second). If anyone can answer this, can you please drop by the "Other Open Source Projects" of the Code Ranch forum and give a helpful response? Btw, here is the direct URL: http://www.coderanch.com/t/622920/open-source/camel-spring-integration#2848108 Thank you so much, Robert Liguori
