I have solved the issue I was having.
1. Removed Apache Camel from my machine 2. Re-downloaded the source(.zip) file 3. Un-zipped Camel 4. Re-Compiled Apache Camel Since the turned out to be the solution; I can only assume that during the initial download or compile a file or parts of it were corrupt/unreadable. All is well now and ALL of the examples in the distribution work as they should. Thank you Claus!
