Thanks for your help, Claus and Willem. I'm doing OK with 2.13.2. I'll try again in a few weeks. Like you said, it probably was an old JAR file. To answer one of your questions, I don't use a servlet container. Restlet is great with Camel and I look forward to using Apache Spark.
