Do you just need a plan vanilla xml to json and json to xml or do you need some
modifications in your element names etc?
Use

<dataFormats>
        <xmljson id="xmljson" />
</dataFormats>

And in case you want to convert xml to json , use

<marshal ref="xmljson" />

In case you want to convert json to xml, use

<convertBodyTo type="java.lang.String" />
<unmarshal ref="xmljson" />

Works fine for SOAP also.

In case you want to rename some elements etc, you need to look at extended
parameters.

Thanks and Regards,
