Thanks Aki, My first step in the Camel Route is to convert the body to a string. I was able to work around it by turning off streaming and since I need to modify the payload, I don't need streaming in this use case. Is it possible that the default for Streaming in older versions of Camel like 2.10.7 was false? That would explain the anamolies when we upgraded to Camel 2.14.x
