Hi,

In my test class, I am trying to send a message to a route under test using the
ProducerTemplate sendXXX() method. I assumed this would simulate an incoming
message for the endpoint, but it seems that this is not the case. For example,
with the File endpoint, the file is physically created on the file system and
then read by the endpoint:

ProducerTemplate producerTemplate = camelContext.createProducerTemplate();
producerTemplate.sendBodyAndHeaders(
    "file:testFolder/(?i).*\\.txt",
    "Test message content",
    Map.of(Exchange.FILE_NAME, "testFile.txt")
);

This code creates a testFile.txt file in the testFolder.

For a spring-rabbitmq endpoint, I cannot use the producer template at all. It
appears that the message is sent to the default exchange, and due to our
RabbitMQ configuration, the message is not routed to the correct queue.

Is this behavior documented somewhere? Additionally, how can I simulate
incoming messages without relying on external resources like the file system or
RabbitMQ?

Thanks,  Jan
