If you change the LINK to 
http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/releases/precise/release/ubuntu-12.04-server-cloudimg-amd64-root.tar.gz
 it wont redirect and things should stay current for newer point releases and 
you wont have to update the script when newer versions are cut.
