Hello Andrija, It would not be a good way. If you wand to upgrade from 4.0.0 to 4.2, you should do an upgrade from 4.0 to 4.0.1, so from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2, so from 4.0.2 to 4.1, 4.1 to 4.1.1 and so 4.1.1 to 4.2.
Take a look a the docs. It is well explained how to perform safely an upgrade from version A to versioon B. From my experience, pass through all the existing versions. Don't miss any step upgrading from a version A to Z.
