I'm not experienced with KVM, and I'm also not sure if the Primary Storage is under LVM. But if it is, you could resize the primary storage using LVM? If you resize the Primary storage you should not have anything to do in CloudStack, it will update is available resources automatically, altough, you might need to have the hypervisor config updated.
