Geoff, 

My mate is using it for a pre-production phase on several nodes and it seems to 
work okay with qemu/kvm. He said that Windows servers are more responsive, but 
I guess it's because of a newer version of qemu. 

He hasn't tried it with lxc yet.

Currently 120.4(1) is the recommended version of Ubuntu when using it for KVM 
Hosts. 



Does anyone run 14.04 LTS in production, and if so has it proved stable?
