im sure you know this .. but if you have forgotten :-)

if you want to be *extra extra safe* , just place the cluster in "*unmanaged
state* " in CS web ui.
you will see all your xenservers in the cluster  in disconnected state ....

now you can change the xen pool master , upgrade xenserver , patch , reboot
etc ..

after your maintenance , click manage your cluster .
