Is it possible to run snapshot as auto (cron job)?

Snapshots capabilities are native to your hypervisor. ACS just uses API of 
hypervisors to instruct it to perform snapshot.
The most popular snapshot is disk snapshot, where disk is cloned and cloned 
disk copy moved to secondary storage via SSVM. This copy then can be used to 
produce new volume or template.
