This may be worth testing for the AHV → CloudStack/KVM migration you’re working on: [Sendense Nutanix](https://sendense.com/integrations/nutanix) [Cross platform migration](https://sendense.com/solutions/backup-replication) Sendense integrates with Nutanix AHV through Prism and can protect workloads at the VM level, then recover them onto Apache CloudStack/KVM. That gives you a possible migration path without having to build and maintain a custom bulk export/conversion workflow from AHV. You've also got the option of direct replication and migration from Nutanix to Cloudstack, and can even provide a DRaaS solution from Nutanix <> Cloudstack For a POC, I’d suggest selecting a small set of representative VMs — different disk sizes, BIOS/UEFI, multi-NIC, Windows/Linux and higher-change workloads — then validating: * backup/replication from AHV through Prism * recovery into CloudStack/KVM * disk and boot compatibility * NIC/network mapping * application consistency * recovery time and cutover process A POC is available if you want to test the workflow against your existing Nutanix and CloudStack environments before deciding on the bulk migration approach.
