@returntrip CloudStack 4.22 does support copyimagetags=true during deployment, which copies existing tags from the template/ISO to the new VM, but it does not let you specify new arbitrary tags in the deploy call. This is not just a limitation of the UI. Also the API does not support to specify tags on the fly.
