Hi,
thanks for the info. I decided to give it a try on my lab environment,
currently running versions:
corosync -v
Corosync Cluster Engine, version '3.1.6'
pacemakerd --features
Pacemaker 2.1.2 (Build: ada5c3b36e2)
Supporting v3.11.0: agent-manpages ascii-docs books cibsecrets
corosync-ge-2 generated-manpages lha monotonic nagios ncurses remote
systemd
Ubuntu 22.04
I unzipped the sources and tried to run make, after fixing missing
dependencies for various packages, this is the error I can't get past:
checking for libcorosync_common... yes
configure: error: in `/opt/pacemaker-Pacemaker-2.1.10-rc1':
configure: error: At least one cluster stack must be supported
See `config.log' for more details
make: *** [GNUmakefile:26: init] Error 1
Looking into configure.ac (I'm not a dev btw), it checks for
corosync-ge-2 in the $STACKS variable. According to the above output,
the currenty installed pacemaker version does support that. But I
don't understand why it's failing here. Could you shed some light on
this?
Thanks!
Eugen
Zitat von Chris Lumens <clum...@redhat.com>:
Hi all,
I am happy to announce that the source code for the first release
candidate for Pacemaker version 2.1.10 is now available at:
https://github.com/ClusterLabs/pacemaker/releases/tag/Pacemaker-2.1.10-rc1
This is a small bug fix focused release for anyone who hasn't been able
to move to Pacemaker 3 yet. The major fixes included were previously
discussed on this list, but to recap:
* Use dbus messages to property detect the completion of start and stop
actions for systemd resources.
* Add a CIB option for enabling new Pacemaker Remote node fencing
behavior in certain corner cases.
There are several other minor bug fixes including fixing memory leaks, a
segfault in pacemaker-attrd, and several other minor pacemaker-attrd
improvements. For more details about changes in this release, please
see the change log:
https://github.com/ClusterLabs/pacemaker/blob/2.1/ChangeLog
Everyone is encouraged to download, compile, and test the new release.
We do many regression tests and simulations, but we can't cover all
possible use cases, so your feedback is important and apperciated.
Many thanks to all contributors of source code to this release,
including Athos Ribeiro, Gao,Yan, Ken Gaillot, Klaus Wenninger, and Reid
Wahl.
3.0.1-rc1 will also be released soon.
- Chris
