You don't need to. The mail we received from him is sent by web.de (a German mail provider) if you add an address to your contacts (here the Cocoon list) and if you don't deactivate a checkbox: It's a "service" of web.de, where the added person can add personal details like address or phone numbers to the adding person's address book. I hope this was not to irritating now :-) In conclusion he was only inattentive.
