That did the trick...things are working great. I also see performance improvements in latest version (2.1.2) over 2.1 while webapp deployment.

I got the same error not a week ago but with JBoss 3.2.2 and Tomcat 4.1.27.
It's the Deli block messing things up. It's totaly unstable so if you uncomment the line that says "exclude.block.deli=true"
and recompile you'll be fine...
