Hi, we are trying to use Cocoon as a viewer (you may call it portal as well) for a document management system (DMS). The interaction with the DMS is based on CGI requests. The DMS requires authentication. When the user is logged-in, the HTTP request contains a valid cookie, if not, the user is re-directed to the login page. Does anybody have practical experience with getting and setting of cookies in a similar environment? Any practical tips will be appreciated very much! (We have a rough idea of the authentication framework and the session resp. request logicsheets.)
