hi corin, it wouldn't make sense to 'cache actions'. responses are cached (and the CacheableProcessingComponent methods are called) by the processing pipelines but the ServerPagesAction directly uses the ServerPagesGenerator. so, the short answer is; respones from server pages 'invoked' from a ServerPagesAction are not cached.

Hi Guys, I've not yet delved into the action source yet, but I've spent a lot of time with my nose in the caching pipelines, and I think I understand the caching mechanisms pretty well. It would seem to me that actions are not caching. If I specify a SourceValidity within an XSP action the method is never called. Does someone have a quick answer as to whether or not XSP actions are cacheable using standard interfaces / impls? If the interface isn't standard, where might I find it? :) Thanks, Corin Corin Moss Lead Developer TVNZ Interactive +64 9 916 7367 +64 21 403 054 [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
