Write a file to a remote machine

I am writing a page to write a file to a remote machine. But I totally have no idea which component I should use. I searched for source writing tranformer,  but it seems that it doesn't have any configuration tage for user name and password, does it mean that it cannot write to a remote machine? thanks!
