And there are two different versions of FOP in use: 0.20.5 and the new 0.93. The latter is only available in Cocoon 2.2. For the compliance to the standard have a look at http://xmlgraphics.apache.org/fop/compliance.html. None of them seem to support "show-destination" yet.
