times ago I tried using Cocoon 2.1.10 but I had some problem building and
integrationg it with my code.

btw global variables are not a problem, the main is that now I am forced
using prefer-web-inf and 'ClassCast' error comes out.

I suppose prefer-web-inf has beeing used from weblogic for quite all jars,
but not xerces xalan jar, in my web-inf lib
