While on the topic, there's still plenty to do that does not require kernel programming.
There's a section on the wiki that talks about available tasks; the first 7 "mini" tasks are all needed but don't need code. I've got more written down that I need to add to that list. http://wiki.dragonflybsd.org/index.cgi/Projects_Page Writing documentation, testing patches, etc. is always good. Pick any website that is oriented towards another BSD or Linux (Freshports, Kerneltrap, Undeadly, and so on) and do it with DragonFly in mind. You can't do news summaries, though - that's my turf. :)
