1.8 Runs fine here on Core-D, both dual & single core, 2.8 & 3.0 GHz, tested

Should be no problem on Core-2 Duo & 1024 MHz fsb with commodity hardware of
decent grade.
Runs well at the other end of the performance spectrum on VIA C3 also.
Been a while since I did a NetBSD install, but ISTR that DragonFly is easier by
comparison.
Either way, it makes life simpler to have a FreeBSD 6 or 7 CD around with
'sysinstall' to do the disk slicing & MBR setup beforehand.
