Something like pcengines.ch or soekris.com. You can build a fanless wireless router for under 150 EUR that runs *BSD and that doesn't take much power (max 12W). Those boxes are quite powerful. 500 MHz Geode, 128 MB main memory. You could also plug a hard disk via USB...

http://www.logicsupply.com/ has been my personal favorite. They have fanless ones that run from a 800mhz via, up to a multple GHz core 2 mobile. Flash drives from 256mb to 8 gb. Pretty nice too.
