There are two symbols that get put there: one indicates that source is 
available and the other that javadocs are available.
I think the J is for source.
The other symbols goes in the bottom right hand corner, underneath the J.

You can right click on "Libraries" and choose to download the javadocs and/or 
sources.

  I've noticed that the CXF JAR file has a "J" badge on it.

  Anyone know what this badge connotes?
